About River’s Rest Holiday House

River’s Rest is a spacious, comfortable family home ideal for extended family holidays together. There is a large variety of books, board games and a game room for family fun at home. The pit braai is situated right outside the games room, under a large milkwood tree for those family evening braais. There are sufficient ablutions for the extended family as well as an outdoor shower surrounded by greenery. With a good variety of room sizes and styles, there is a room to suit everyone and a lovely open-plan living area. Right outside the sitting room is a small courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast on a sunny morning. Approximately, 3 to 4 medium sized cars can fit in the driveway behind a secure gate.

About Boesmansriviermond & Kenton-on-Sea

The house is situated on the second street back from the river in the leafy village of the old Boesmansriviermond within approximately 800 meters of the river mouth and beach. A great variety of activities such as boating, fishing, canoeing, swimming and the Kwaaihoek beach walk can be enjoyed. There is a small café in the village for convenience and just over the Boesmansrivier is Kenton-on-Sea which boasts a variety of artisanal street-side shops as well as a well-stocked Spar supermarket.
